Collage Workshop at the Center of Migrant Worker’s Children, Beijing, 2019
This workshop was held at the Center for Migrant Worker Children in Miyun, Beijing, in collaboration with the RISD Alumni Association. Many of these children do not have regular access to art education. Through this session, we hoped to offer them a space to engage with materials and the world in new ways during times when their parents are away and their daily lives are centered on study. By combining techniques of drawing and collage, we created together our own imaginative visions of the city of Beijing.
